He’s Into You:
1. He Texts You First
Do you text people you like? Exactly. So do they. If he’s thinking about you, that will result in a text or a call. You’re on his mind and he makes sure you know it.
2. He’s Affectionate
Does you fall into you when he laughs? Does he poke you to ‘annoy’ you? What about a hug that lingers a bit too long? Men are touchy when they like someone and are receptive to touch from someone they like. Pay close attention to this next time you see him.
3. He Asks To Hangout
I don’t mean Netflix and chill. I mean “Hey want to check out that new movie Friday?” A movie just the two of you? He’s smitten. Also, on that date, he talks your ear off. He’s so glad to have time with you and wants to learn all about you.
4. He Gets Jealous
Can you talk to him about guys? Tell him about your crushes? How does he handle it? If he’s receptive to it, he’s probably not that into you. However, if he seems annoyed, fidgety, and talks bad about the other guys? You got them.
5. He’s Protective
I know it’s the bare minimum but unfortunately, chivalry is dead. If she makes sure you get home safe at night, walks you back after a party, or texts you to check in, he likes you. He genuinely cares about your well-being because he genuinely cares about you.
He’s Stringing You Along:
1. He Only Texts You At Night
This one is fairly self-explanatory. Why isn’t he thinking of you throughout the day? Why are you only a thought during the demon hours of the night? He’s keeping you in the rotation just in case but isn’t willing to put in any more effort than a late-night booty call.
2. He Prefers Snapchat
I will never not believe that any man that uses Snapchat religiously is a red flag. How old are you again? Why is seeing pictures of random girls’ faces every day so damn important to you? Why are you such a weirdo? Sorry. I’m getting heated. Anyway, Snapchat is for fuckboy losers. If he asks for your snap and not your number, only texts you on snap, or hell simply has it… RUN.
3. He Tries To Sleep With You Right Away
When a guy really likes you, he’s scared of screwing up. He will tread lightly in an effort to not offend you. If he makes a move right away and you’ve established that’s not what you want, he doesn’t respect you or see you as anything other than someone to sleep with.
4. He Doesn’t Ask About Your Life
Is he always talking about himself? Never really tries to get to know you? Everything is very surface level? If a guy likes you he wants to know you better than anyone else. He wants to know what your pet hamster’s name was in third grade. If he doesn’t see you sticking around, he won’t put in the effort to get to know you. He simply doesn’t care.
5. He Talks About His Sex Life With You
Although sex shouldn’t be a taboo topic, there are boundaries set with certain people when talking about it. One of which is with the girl you are interested in. He isn’t going to go on and on about what that girl from the club did to him last week. He knows that would not impress you or make you jealous. It would make him look like the ultimate fuckboy. However, if he doesn’t care what you think of him, he will tell you ALL his stories.
