Dates can be costly but they don’t always have to be! Here are some of our favorite inexpensive yet fun ideas to try out this summer!
1. Picnic In The Park
Go grocery shopping, pack snacks and drinks, get a blanket, and head to the park! You can get a speaker and listen to your favorite songs, play games, or even just relax and enjoy the sun together!
2. Late-Night Drive
Whether you live in the city and can look at all the buildings and lights, or in the country and can see the stars, late-night drives are amazing dates. Make a playlist with your partner, pack some snacks, and enjoy each other’s company!
3. Fancy Open Houses
You know those houses you always drive past and wonder what the inside looks like? Well, now you can see. Look up open houses in a fancy area and take a look for yourselves. Who knows, maybe you two will live in one of them someday!
4. Projector Movie Night
If you don’t already have one, you can get a fairly inexpensive projector online. Set the scene indoors or outdoors, get cozy blankets, and maybe even make your favorite meal beforehand. Cozy up and enjoy the movie!
5. Cook-Off
Both of you pick a meal to make in a certain amount of time. Play music, make jokes, sabotage each other, whatever you want! At the end of it compare your dishes and decide who won! The loser has to… well you decide.
6. Garden Stroll
Wander hand in hand through vibrant botanical gardens, surrounded by blooming flowers and serenading birdsong. Be sure to put on your favorite summer fits and take lots of pictures!
7. Wine Tasting
Find a wine tasting at a local vineyard! There you all can sip on exquisite vintages and savor each other’s company. Be sure to Uber there though, wine tasting can get a little crazy!
8. Hiking Adventure
Explore picturesque trails together, discover hidden gems, and enjoy breathtaking views of nature’s beauty. Be sure to pack snacks, water, and patience… this is a hike with your SO after all.
9. Sunrise Breakfast
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise together, followed by a cozy breakfast in a scenic spot. Feel free to keep your pajamas on for this one. The comfier the better!
10. Outdoor Art Class/ Outdoor Painting
Whether you find a class, or just buy some canvases and paint outside, this date is perfect. Unleash your creativity together, painting and sculpting in the open air.
